Coronavirus Concerns

March 12, 2020, 10:30pm

Currently, Perpetual Motion’s Woodbury and Blaine locations are running classes and open gyms as scheduled. We plan to follow School District 833’s lead; they are in close communication with the MN Department of Health and had this to say recently:

“On March 12, the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) provided new guidance for schools on limiting crowds or large gatherings to help prevent the spread of the disease. We are evaluating this guidance and will provide an update on how this impacts school events, activities and athletics before students and staff return from spring break.

Both the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) are not currently recommending school closures.

As spring break(s) comes to an end, we ask that all families follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) after-travel health precautions. If the district learns of a student or staff member who has recently traveled from one of the countries of concern, they will be asked by the district to stay home for 14 days and to contact the Minnesota Department of Health.”

To do our part in maintaining a safe and healthy environment, we have greatly increased our daily cleaning efforts. We are sanitizing frequently touched surfaces throughout the day to help reduce the spread of all viruses. Staff have been instructed to be diligent in washing their hands and staying home when sick. We are asking the same of our members when it comes to staying home when sick and hand-washing often.

Please remember if your gymnast or anyone you would bring to the gym is sick, please stay home. As long as you are currently enrolled, you can call the office to schedule a make-up class at 651-459-5837 (Woodbury) or 763-754-2341 (Blaine). *We will offer unlimited make-ups for this session and next session as well*

We take great pride in making the Perpetual Motion Gymnastics environment fun, safe, and healthy for our members. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will be ready to adjust as needed.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
